Cover for Neuroscience journal, special issue

The cover was created for an article of review about neuro-functional ultrasound as a new imaging modality for neuroscience. This image illustrates how mechanical waves (i.e ultrasound) can reveal the deep vascular structure of the brain and quantify its activity.
